I'm a fourth-year Ph.D. student in the Ahmed lab working on neural computation. My research interests include both individual-neuron and collection-of-neurons, focusing on the geometry and topology of neurons, as well as deep learning (not exclusively in neural systems).

Some research questions that I think too much about include:

• How do we characterize the kinds of functions a single neuron or collections of neurons can compute?

• Can we create an algebra describing the kinds of functions that are computable as we compose neurons?

• How do we build more efficient deep learning models?

Outside the lab, I'm into bouldering, cooking, and reading books about programming. I am currently reading through "Designing Data-Intensive Applications"
